# Job Description
PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Duties:
The main duties of the successful candidate will include:
–>Inspect Customer buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
–>Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
–>Prepare Service costs estimate and Prepare quotations for Customers.
–>Use baits and set traps to remove, control, or eliminate pests
–>Apply pesticides in and around buildings and other structures
–>Design and carry out pest management plans
–>Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
–>Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications
–>Must have a Grade 12 Certificate including Mathematics and English
–>Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Pest Control related or any relevant course
–>At least 2 years of proven experience in pest control operations
–>Must have Mount Makuru – Certification for Pest Control
–>Driving license will be an advantage Competencies
–>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
–>Ability to multi-task
–>Must be highly flexible and cordial
–>Must have proficient computer knowledge
–>Must have good accounting knowledge
–>Must be highly organized and neat
–>Demonstrate knowledge of the job and initiative
