# Job Description
PHARMACY SALES REPRESENTATIVE X 2
To process and fill preseriptions and undertake other tasks under the
direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the
retail pharmacy runs smoothly.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
–>Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
–>Receive prescriptions and check their validity
–>Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
–>Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
–>Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
–>Undertake administrative tasks as assigned
–>Pricing and filling of prescriptions
–>Obtaining pharmacist’s approval
–>Assisting with insurance claims processing
–>Advise clients on Cosmetics
–>Advise clients on Agro Products
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
–>Full Grade Twelve Certificate
–>Certificate in Pharmacy
–>Registered with the HPCZ
–>Valid Practicing License
–>3 Years’ Experience
–>Qualification in Agro and Cosmetics will be an added advantage
