Job Purpose/Mission

Fenix is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and disciplined Sales
Representative with a passion for entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and
financial inclusion to join our team. This role requires an individual to work
under limited supervision, perform duties associated with direct interaction
with customers, inventory , and providing after-sales service
support both technical and non-technical to existing Engie customers with an
emphasis on providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

–>Hit sales targets set for your territory
–>Support and oversee Engie Points of Sale POS in your territory
–>Demonstrates products and services to potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs
–>Emphasize product/service features and benefits, prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms
–>Ensure quality of after-sales services is exceptional in your territory
–>Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services and competitor activities
–>Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
–>Identify, train and manage a team of product champions in your territory
–>Build and maintain relationships with managers and staff of product Dealers in your region
–>Work with representatives from Engie’s strategic partners to benefit from their additional activities e.g. shows, radio advertising etc.
–>Collect, analyze and report product and customer feedback to contribute directly to Engie product and business development strategy
–>Management of stock at POS ensuring healthy supply for Sales agents to access
–>Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray Engie in a positive manner.

Knowledge and skills

Experience

–>At least three 2 years of sales work experience
–>Proven track record leading teams and managing others
–>Experience working in rural sales environment
–>Demonstrated ability to hit sales targets
–>Experience with and ability to effectively work with teams
–>Ability to customize and clearly communicate the Engie value proposition, including quantitative and qualitative benefits to the customer
–>Ability to manage inventory and after-sales services processes
–>Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in English & key languages spoken in your region

Qualifications:

–>Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field

Technology

–>Ability to learn and share technical specifications of Fenix products
–>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Google Apps
