A reputable Commercial Bank in Zambia is seeking to recruit self-motivated,
enthusiastic and innovative persons to fill the following positions:
TEAM MEMBER IT SERVICE DESK
Reporting to Team Lead- IT Sipport, s/he will perform the responsibility of:
–>Ensure user requirements are obtained on a timely basis
–>Help desk management/ provision of first level support to users
–>Ensure the timely resolution of user issues
–>Orderly escalation of faults to 2nd and 3rd level support
–>Perform consistent, accurate problem escalation processes, and update documentation and process as needed.
–>Provide management with weekly and monthly statistical reports regarding reliability, availability and service of Help Desk
–>Respond to inquiries regarding data and computer security, policies and procedures
–>Provide and ensure system support for all incoming calls pertaining to WAN, LAN, application operating systems
–>Maintain incidents database for the bank
–>Utilize investigative techniques to identify, research, resolve and follow-up on problems, referring appropriate issues to Head, User Support.
–>Perform problem trend analysis and recommend corrective actions to Head, User Support.
–>Produce Monthly Service and capacity report to the Head IT/Management
–>Perform other duties as assigned by the Head IT
Qualification and Skills:
–>Good technology related university degree preferably in Computer Science/Electrical Electronics Engineering or Numeric Science.
–>MCSE or CompTIA Certifications will be an added advantage
–>Minimum of 4 years cognate IT experience, 3 of which must be in Desktop Support
