# Job Description
YOUR ROLE?
To play a Team Leading role in the Operations Department and ensure all
Warehouse employees are motivated enough to positively contribute to uplifting
of the company
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
To ensure sound running of the Warehouse and advising the Operations Manager
of the challenges being faced in the day to day running of the Warehouse.
To ensure correct Warehouse Management, Particularly Data Capture for ALL
Inbound and Outbound Material in all the Warehouse Registers, Reports and most
importantly-the shipment Bin Cards. All shipments to be released against a
completed file-Customs clearance, Billing & payments plus a completed D-Note
counter signed by the Operations Manager
To ensure correct and timely De-Briefing of all staff with links to the
warehouse on the correct but cost effective ways of offloading, deliveries,
standing orders and storage of all shipments General or Dangerous, Bonded or
Not Bonded.
To ensure all Reports are done and sent to the Operations Manager timely and
on agreed intervals
To ensure all Jobs are generated and followed through with correct invoicing
within 48hrs of shipment handling
To ensure all Warehouse Equipment is managed correctly and cost effectively
with particular attention being paid to maintenance and running costs
To ensure shipment security, lodgments and recoveries are managed correctly
To ensure the leave plan for the warehouse staff for the year is properly
managed
To ensure the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Overtime for the warehouse staff is
managed properly and approved by the Operations Manager before engaging in the
works involved.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Diploma in Logistics & Transport, Warehousing
A strong and excellent knowledge of all facets of the Ceva/ Logistics Business
possibly with proven track record in Operations / Warehousing and / or
Forwarding function
Valid Class C Drivers License
Vast knowledge in Cargowise
Excellent interpersonal and Communication skill
Flexibility in working hours
Three-years related experience
